The first time for me to visit a dashpoint situated in urban area. It was next
to a nice small house, surrounded by garden.

It's already 2nd dashpoint this year that has "fallen" into Kaugatoma-Lu
landscape protection reserve. I'm not quite sure, what's so special in this
place that it needs to be protected, but anyway, it's surrounded by a fence and
that's how the area is called. The point was just a kilometer from GDAQ-MODE
that I visited in February!!! So basically there was nothing new for me. I
parked my car on the picturesque sea-side and found a gate in the fence. From
there I took a 600m walk along a wet trail over stony pastory with some juniper
bushes growing on it (of which some were dried and dead).

So I made a road-trip to village Saareküla for visiting the point. It was
possible to drive to 75 meters. A short walk took me exactly to the point. It
was on a harvested field, which had some wild flowers growing on it. 1.3km from
the point there was an althar rised for goddess Blesta, who is belived to be
the creator of the world civilization 30000 years ago.

On the first attempt of approach through Kiruma village I met a "Private road"
sign by some houses at 2.5km distance. That made me turn around and make a 23km
long arc to approach through Küdema. That was successful. I drove to 250 meters
and took a walk over a clear cut area of forest. There were some cowberries
growing and I also found two strawberries, of which one tasted quite good.

I parked my car by Kuressaare - Sandla road at 1.2km distance and walked
through forest. There were some nets with orange 2cm long spiders on the way,
some dewberries (Rubus caesius) and an ant nest. At 25 meters from the point
there were also some wild raspberries.

It was possible to drive to 450 meters, where the trail was blocked by fallen trees and a trench was digged through it. There were lots of delicious wild strawberries on the way, so it was a quite tasteful walk;) There was also an ant nest. On 400 meters I met a sign saying "Private land", but of course I ignored it, like I always do. In the forest there was laying an old washing machine. It looked like a place where these private owners hide some of their private garbage. The dashpoint was in the forest, about 150 meters off from the path, behind a small swampy clearance.

Some people seem to find their satisfaction in putting up these "Private land" signs...

It was on the south-western coast of island Muhu, near cape Pikasääre.

On the way there I saw cops measuring speed just before Liiva village. But I
noticed them early and slowed down, so they didn't touch me. A little after
turning right at Liiva I saw two roes crossing the road, with some nice white
asses.

It was possible to drive to 3,5km from the point. It was impossible to continue
even with snow chains. The snow on the road was too deep. There were only some
tracks of tractors and ATV in it. So I parked and took a stroll. There was an
ant nest beside the road and someone's lost and found boot hanging on a tree.
After a kilometer the tracks turned away from the road. I followed the road,
not the tracks. The snow was quite deep, reaching occasionally up to knee.

Finally I reached to the shore of strait Väike that separates islands Muhu and
Saaremaa. It was 1,6km to the point and I continued on ice. There was lot of
water on it and several openings, but it still it was much faster and easier to
walk there then in snow. It was very windy and there were quite many birds
flying around. 1km from the destination there was a nice cottage on the shore.
The point was on dry land, about 100m from coastline.

On the way back I decided not to go to the snowy road again and took a frozen
swamp instead. It was a good choice and took me easily almost to my car. The
cops on the road had changed their position. Now they were in Reina village on
Saaremaa. This time I didn't notice them early enough, because the sun was
against me. Probably they had had a boring day with no speed maniacs to mess
with, because they stopped me, although I had only 13 over (as they said). They
made me blow, but of course I was sober. Fortunately they decided not to fee
me.
