It was +2C and almost not raining. It was possible to drive to 150m. The point had fallen into forest and there wasn't much interesting around it. But it was just 2.5km from the sea, so I took a walk and went to the beach. It was cold and windy, but still nice and relaxing.

Wood is one of the main export articles of Estonia. It often happens that pieces of it get lost on the way over sea and reach to the shore. So here is a piece of the peel of a birch, next to a clam.

The point had fallen exactly onto the road from Tallinn to Paldiski, which had quite heavy traffic. I managed to cross the road somehow, but couldn't locate the exact position of the point nor stop closer than 3 meters.

It was a rainy day. I parked my car next to the gate of an open-air electric power transformer station, 650m from the point, and walked from there. The point had fallen on a meadow, 900m from Kõue manor.

The purpose of this dead-ended channel, is to make rotten hay for bovines. Because bovines like rotten hay much better than dry hay, because it tastes almost as good as vegetables. The channel is filled with fresh hay and covered with film to let it rotten. The old tires around it are placed on the film to prevent wind from carrying it away. But if it's empty then it's a perfect place to practice shooting, so beware !!!

Bus dropped me off 1.6km from the destination, from where I walked over the meadows and through the Maardu Southern open-pit mining area of limestone and phosphorite. It was sunny and +7C, but very windy. Due to the recent warm weeks, catkins were ALREADY blooming on willows on the edge of a ditch. Come on, it's not even the end of December yet and such things should actually not happen before spring!!! The point had fallen into forest next to the mining area.

"lake in the mountains"

View to the old mining area from top of a pile of residual material. If someone still claims that there's no hills in Estonia and everything is absolutely flat especially around the coastline, then these people must take back their words now. There's plenty of marks of Soviet time terraforming, some of which are quite breathtakingly impressive. At top left corner there can be seen (from the left) the cooling tower and chimney of Iru power plant and the TV tower of Tallinn.

It was a moist and cloudy day with occasional rain. I parked 1.4km from the point and walked from there through the forest. The point had fallen into Pühatu swamp. There was a lot of wetness and water everywhere, but as we'd had a lot of days with minus temperature beforehand, the soil was frozen from underneath and it was quite easy to walk around.

It was possible to drive to 450m, from where the trail continued through the forest to a snow-covered meadow. The evening was blindingly sunny and there was freshly fallen snow everywhere. As the soil under the snow was not frozen yet, there was fog floating above the meadow due to the steaming moist, that was condensing in the cold air. All this together looked just amazingly peaceful and beautiful. The point had fallen on the edge of a ditch on the edge of the meadow and the forest. I took a long walk out there. When I reached back to my car in darkness, I noticed it already from far, because I had forgotten the lights on. Luckily this car switches from headlights to parking lights when engine is turned off, so it was no problem to start the engine.

I went there by train, but because of the renovation works on the railway, the train line was partially serviced by buses. So I had to get off from the train before reaching to the destination and change over to bus, which took me to 2.3km from the dashpoint. The point had fallen into a swamp, which is part of Rabivere nature reserve. It was cold and windy and cloudy, but not raining. At least not in the beginning. At least not heavily. I spent there 8 hours outside in nature.

On the way back, there came a young man on the train, who wanted to go to Tallinn, but didn't have any money. He told it to the ticket seller they agreed that he must get off in the next stop. But he didn't get off and then they agreed that he'll definitely have to get off in the next stop or they'll call the police. But in the next stop he still didn't want to get off and told that he doesn't care if they call him police, because he needs to get to Tallinn. Ticket seller called the train driver, who came and told that the train will not drive on before the passenger has stepped out of the door. After 3 minutes of waiting, the young man decided to leave the train.
